Story
On Sunday 19th May, a team of Havas Lynx Group employees will be taking to the streets of Manchester to run the Manchester 10k, in support of Surfers Against Sewage.
Since forming from humble beginnings in Porthtowan Village Hall in 1990, Surfers Against Sewage have fought long and hard to protect the oceans, waves, beaches and wildlife around the UK.
Their priority moving forward is to fight the plastic pollution that infests our beaches and seashores. Every year, 12 million tonnes of marine litter and plastic enter the oceans, with approximately 5000 items of marine plastic pollution being found per mile of beach in the UK.
Your donation will help support Surfers Against Sewage in their fight to protect our coastlines, whilst raising awareness of their invaluable work.
Thank you very much.
