Church Action on Poverty is a Christian social justice charity, committed to tackling poverty in the UK. We work in partnership with churches and with people in poverty themselves to find solutions to poverty.

Story

I'm running the Great Manchester Run this May to raise money for Church Action on Poverty - the charity my Dad works for, who do work with people living in poverty in the UK. They work to give a voice to those in poverty, to enable those in poverty to develop more sustainable livelihoods and ultimately to close the gap between rich and poor.

So I've decided to run 10 kilometres for them! This will be a pretty big achievement for me, as some of you may know, and I'm going to be training hard over the next few months to make sure that I can complete it!

I'd love it if you could sponsor me! It doesn't matter how much you give - £5, £2 or 50p, anything at all would be wonderful.

Thanks for all your support!
