In June, myself and two other lovely ladies from work are going to be taking on the Four Elements Team Challenge in the Lake District. This is in order to raise money for the Brain Tumour Charity and help change the lives for people affected by brain tumours in the future.
This will involve a 10 mile cycle, a 5 mile canoe around an island and a 100ft abseil, followed by orienteering through forest collecting materials to build and light a fire all in one day on the 13th June. The Brain Tumour Charity is an amazing charity set up to defeat what is the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40.
Any donations, no matter how large or small, would be gratefully received for this amazing charity. Research offers the only real hope of dramatic improvements in the diagnosis, treatment and management of brain tumours.
By supporting our Four Elements challenge, you are donating vital funds to fund research so desperately needed to improve survival and quality of life for children and adults with brain tumours.
