I'm taking part in Step Up for Girls to support Plan International UK and their work to empower girls worldwide. I will be running 140km in 14 days to help tackle gender inequality and show solidarity with girls everywhere.

Now more than ever, with the coronavirus crisis putting girls at even greater risk, we must stand with girls and protect their right to be safe, to an education, and to a future free from discrimination, inequality and abuse.

I have been working at Plan International UK for one year now, and I am truly inspired by the stories of resilience in Plan's work.
