A 7.8 magnitude earthquake has hit Southern Turkey, Syria, Lebanon and surrounding areas- this was followed by a second powerful earthquake that has caused even more damage and destruction along with loss of lives. Initial reports estimated over 1900 deaths with many people still buried under rubble. Sadly....this number has now grown to over 55000 dead and many more injured, languishing in overwhelmed hospitals. During the blessed month of Ramadan 2023 I will be travelling out to Turkey and Syria joining Action for Humanity who are on the ground- and have been immediately in the aftermath of the first earthquake as there office was based in the affected areas. They are mobilising quickly and are raising emergency funds to support survivors. Here's how YOU can help:
