Story

Dear all, I am running my 4th marathon next month in London through a place kindly provided to me through the Rotary Club of Tower Hamlets (formerly Rotary Club of Stepney).

Our Rotary Club provides assistance (financial and non financial) to local and international causes. Many of you have taken part in our annual dragonboat event and so know our club already.  Please click on our link.

One of our causes this year is ANHO - the Abiy Negussie Humanitarian Organisation (ANHO). It was established in order to assist street children and their families in Addis Ababa with financial support, health care and educational assistance.

There are currently over 60,000 homeless children in the streets of Addis Ababa.

The founder, Abiy Negussie, came to speak to our club a few months ago and he is truly an inspirational guy - combining a charitable vision with sincerity and entrepreneurial spirit. We invited him to join our club and are delighted that he accepted our invitation.

Please also take a few minutes to visit their website

Finally, any donation (no matter how small) would be most appreciated.
