This March 11th, I will be taking a step back from my life on the front line in the NHS to travel to the Syria/Lebanon border to provide those displaced by war with life saving aid. 

We will be providing them with food and fuel as the bitter winter sets in with temperatures expected below zero and multiple snow storms.

These people literally have tarpaulin as tents to live in with a basic fuel burner to give them respite from freezing conditions. The deployment team I am going with have already seen babies frozen to death and even starved .
