Story

I'm running the London Marathon to raise money for Notting Hill Genesis Community Foundation. They do brilliant work in London supporting people facing crises, whether homelessness, addiction or severe hardship. I'd really appreciate anything you can afford to spare. 

I will be trying to run the marathon in under 3 hours and 20 minutes - a personal best.

Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) works in the community, providing homes for lower-income households. This is our primary purpose, and everything else we do supports that aim. Money raised through fundraising contributes to our hardship fund, helping residents during times of hardship and crisis. Sadly, many of our residents struggle to meet basic food and energy costs or pay for essential household items such as beds, fridges, and cookers. This is often due to vulnerability, ill-health, family bereavement or unexpected gaps in benefit claims. Our hardship fund supports around 500 NHG residents per year during these difficult times, with grants to help ease stress and suffering.
