Harvey's MS Marathon Page

London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2018 my dad was finally told what had been causing him to become forgetful, a little tongue-tied, a tad wibbly-wobbly and in increasing pain. He had Multiple Sclerosis; in fact he had Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis which meant that there was no treatment to speak of and things were only going to get worse.
They are getting worse but he's a tough old dude and a remarkable example to me and my brothers every day.
It's hard to know how to help, especially with someone so independent and proud, but I want to do something and raising vital funds seems like a great way to start.
I love running (which is a blessing) and I'm quite good at it (which is a bonus) but running the London Marathon with the rest of the MS Society runners is incredibly daunting. It will be worth it, though, especially if I can encourage everyone who reads this to make a donation.
Research is vital, but research costs money. I understand that the answers I may help fund might not come in time for my dad but they may help someone else's dad, or mum, or child or friend. If you can donate to my challenge, thousands of people will thank you and it will help me with every step I take towards the finish line.
Thank you so much,
Harvey
