Story

After the fantastic success of the #LifeboatsForHarry campaign (during which we raised an astonishing $11,400 for the RNLI), I am asking for support to fundraise for the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital as a present for Harry Styles for his 24th Birthday.

The RMCH are a very fitting charity for this year's fundraiser. Not only are they located in Harry's home city, but they also touched everyone's hearts when they treated many of those injured in the Manchester Arena attack in May 2017. Harry phoned the hospital to speak to one of the survivors, who he later invited to his BBC show recording in Salford.

The Royal Manchester Children's Hospital cares for 260,000 children each and every year. Fundraising is concentrated on 3 key areas:

  1. Treatment
  2. Research
  3. Care

Funds are used to purchase specialist equipment to diagnose and provide treatment for young people more quickly and easily, to create as child-friendly an environment as possible and for funding pioneering medical research to increase their understanding of children's illnesses and the optimum way to treat them.

Some of the current projects that the charity is fundraising for are music therapy, bedside chairs for parents, DNA methylation profiling, heart care and a Mini C Arm X-Ray. More information about these projects can be found on the following link: http://www.rmchcharity.org.uk/why-help-us/current-projects

Please join me by helping to raise as much money as possible for the RMCH and help to make sure thousands of children receive the best treatment possible.

Speaking about the last two fundraisers we did (#SaveSkylark and #LifeboatsForHarry), Harry said "it's so incredible, when people react to stuff, and want to do little things to help, everyone does these things and shows that a little bit adds up to these amazing things. That's incredible, so nice, and thank you." He also said "If someone has a choice and they choose to do something like that, then that's incredible, I love that."

Let's make him proud again.

With love,
