Harry's Odd Socks

Well, it's World Down's Syndrome Day on Thursday 21st March 2013, and we thought it would be a great idea to join in and celebrate and wear lots of socks, well, actually odd socks as that's easier than lots of socks... my typing is bad enought without trying it with socks on my hands... and driving would just be dangerous... anyway we thought maybe people would like to join us in wearing odd socks and donate 50p, or whatever you can afford, to the Down Syndrome Association.
This week is Down's Syndrome Awareness Week, and this year the theme is a focus on vision in people with Down's Syndrome "Think Big, Think Bold". There's some great information about this here:

So dig through your sock drawer for some Big and Bold socks, and dig into your pockets to help us celebrate Down's Syndrome day :-)
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
