£1,070

The care our teams provide is only possible due to fundraising by our staff, volunteers and supporters. The Coronavirus means fundraising events have had to be cancelled. We need your help to allow us to continue to provide our vital services.

Story

I wanted to use my time in this lockdown to raise some money for a local charity. This Saturday at 7pm I will live-streaming a set as well as offering requests for those who donate to the cause. I would like to raise money for Hospice at Home West Cumbria. Many local charities are struggling to achieve the level of donations they require to offer their services. Hospice at Home provide vital end of life care and support for patients and their families in time of need. If the target is reached, I will be shaving my head to celebrate this!

Hospice at Home West Cumbria have been caring for patients, their families and loved ones for over 33 years and we need to ensure we can continue to provide this care. Our nursing team are continuing to provide care in patients homes at this critical time and this care is only possible due to the fundraising efforts of our staff, volunteers and supporters in the West Cumbrian community.Unfortunately, Coronavirus has already had a huge impact on our fundraising efforts. Our main fundraising event KAPOW! has had to be cancelled, community events have been cancelled and our charity shops are closed. This will leave a huge gap in our income and we need to bridge this gap. We are the only provider of Hospice services in West Cumbria and we need your support more than ever to make sure we can continue doing what we do. .Please donate whatever you can to our Emergency Appeal and share our page far and wide.
