Hello, 

Starting Monday 18th May, I am taking the challenge of running 10km everyday for 10 consecutive days. 

Throughout covid-19 we have seen amazing challenges undertaken by amazing people. Seeing all these great achievements I have decided to set my own personal challenge to help raise some money for the amazing charity that is Macmillan. The challenge that I’ve set myself is to run 10km everyday for 10 consecutive days. 

I have chosen to support the amazing charity that is Macmillan. I have chosen to represent Macmillan due to the charity being close to my families hearts. Cancer has taken the life of my grandfather  a couple of years ago. As a result of this I have seen the amazing work that cancer nurses do on a daily business. 

Throughout Covid-19 many people’s attention may have been diverted away from cancer. However, people suffering with cancer still have to face the daily challenges that cancer brings. Whilst this is going on, Macmillan nurses are still having to go in and support cancer patients and their families. Due to this I would like to raise a little amount of money to aid their amazing work. 

The challenge is to raise £150 for Macmillan so any donation is greatly appreciated.
