Story

The Red Cross provides incredible support for refugees in Britain and around the world who are  seeking a safe place to live.

I’m running specifically in support of my neighbour and amazing friend Titiola who was subject of human trafficking from Nigeria to the UK many years ago and who is now along with her two beautiful children facing possible deportation.

The case is currently going through the courts and I was very pleased to act as a character witness as part of the hearing. If successful Titi will be granted refugee status and a right to stay in Britain :)

The Red Cross has essentially supported the family though this period of uncertainty and without the charity, Titi and her family may not have had a place to live or even regular meals.

Meeting Titi and hearing about her circumstances has  really made me aware of the human rights struggles people are going through in Britain and internationally. I’m pleased to be putting in the miles to raise the needed money to keep refugee support going.

Any amount that could be donated will go towards clothes, food and support needed to survive. I'd also personally really appreciate the thought.

Thank you
