Story
On 4th August, an enormous explosion obliterated the port of Beirut, the capital city of Lebanon. Its reported that at least 130 people have been killed, 4,000 people are injured, and hundreds of thousands were made homeless in an instant. The British Red Cross is working closely with the Lebanese Red Cross who have been responding to the crisis. The immediate focus is on saving lives.
I will walk the length of every London Underground line in an effort to raise money for this cause. I was only planning on doing the Circle Line just for myself, but have decided to do them all for this cause. Rules:
- I have to take a picture in front of every station along the line, showing its entrance sign behind me.
- If the line splits, I only need to do the main branch(es) e.g. Central: West Ruislip to Epping
- Where there are two long Branches of approximately equal length, I choose one, or have a guest walker cover the other branch.
- If a long stretch of a line runs alongside to a line I have already covered, sharing all the same stations (circle/district), I can skip that section.
