The sudden loss of Richie has left a huge void in so many people’s lives. Testament to the man he was, we’re finding ourselves inundated with requests “to do something for him”.

Funeral arrangements are now in place and by request it’s family flowers only. Anyone who knows Richie will also appreciate he wasn’t a huge flower man. The only time he’d use the term pansies was when referring to opposition teams. To be fair he did like Roses (of the chocolate variety)….

If you were considering “doing something” we’d respectfully request you donate to Team Solan in lieu of flowers. The Cancer Trust supported Richie since he got his diagnosis and he was incredibly grateful and appreciative of that support.
