Story

Just over a year ago, our friends’ new daughter was born. Jessa arrived at 24 weeks, weighing 1lb 9oz and facing an uncertain time

Jessa(also known as ‘Little Miracle’) recently celebrated her first birthday, having come through many challenges with the love and support of her family and the amazing dedication and care from all the staff in NICU -The premature baby unit who shared every step with Jessa.

At about the same time, my Mum was in hospital for some routine surgery. Every time we saw Jessa’s family, they asked after us, concerned that all had gone well and Mum was recovering properly, even though their life was a constant stream of hospital trips and bedside vigils.

I want to thank them in a way I know they would like. So I’ll be running the Mini-Gear Run in Kings Lynn on 3rd May in aid of NICU in the hope I can help this wonderful facility as it assists other ‘Little Miracles’ with the challenges ahead of them.

Any amount that you could sponsor me on this run would be really appreciated as I run for others like Jessa.

Thank you

Harry Bland
