Story
We are taking part in the Manchester Marathon in April to raise money for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis. Our good friend Rob sadly lost his dad to Pulmonary Fibrosis last year and he is taking on a brutal 4 marathons in 5 weeks to raise as much money as he can for some wonderful charities aiming to find a cure. We will be joining him for the Manchester Marathon and hoping we can also raise some money ourselves so that these charities can continue to support patients and families living with the disease.
Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APF) is a growing community of patients, families, researchers and healthcare professionals striving to find a cure for pulmonary fibrosis so that everyone affected by the disease has a better future. We provide personalised support to patient and families - and raise awareness of pulmonary fibrosis through campaigning, fundraising and education. We are also committed to funding research to improve the quality of life for people living with pulmonary fibrosis today and tomorrow.
