Harrow Homing Centre Pen Appeal

Harrow Homing Centre Appeal · 11 November 2019
In 2020, Cats Protection will be opening a new Homing Centre in London as demand for cats in need of care in the area is very high. We’ve taken on an old warehouse unit in Harrow and are busy fitting out the interior to provide 20 state of the art pens for the cats we will be receiving into our care in the New Year.
But, we need your help to do this!
Please consider giving a donation to help us to provide equipment for the pens which will help to make them homely and welcoming. Each pen will need food bowls and litter trays, bedding, hiding places, scratch posts and lots of stimulating toys.
This is so we can help more cats like… 10-year-old Sky who was taken in by our North London Centre last year. Sky had a terrible inflammation of his face and was also very overweight. He needed medicine and an improved diet! He’s a big snuggle bug of a cat and we were delighted help his recovery. Once we got him feeling better he went to on a house boat where he loves his new life. He doesn’t care much about leaving the boat, but likes to walk along the river bank with his humans.
Sky had to stay with us for many months and it was very important that in his pen were all the best creature comforts we could provide as well as meeting his basic welfare needs.
