Story
It’s been 3 years since Harrison was born prematurely, at a tiny 1lb 2oz, and we want to ensure that Harrison’s life has a positive impact which is wider reaching than just our family.
The specialist equipment that neonatal units require can be extremely expensive. For example, the incubator Harrison was in typically costs £27,000, the ventilator he required is typically £25,000, the screen used to monitor his stats is typically £10,000 and the phototherapy light which treated his jaundice is typically £3000. Each of these machines is vital to babies who require neonatal care, yet they have a fairly short lifespan of approx 7-10 years.
We’d love to raise some money in Harrison’s memory to ensure the kit is there for the poorly babies who need it.
