Story
My cousin Cecily was killed in a car crash whilst in Zambia volunteering at a school for HIV/AIDS orphans during her gap year. 2017 is the twentieth anniversary of her death.
In 1998, her parents set up a charitable trust called Cecily's Fund that builds on her legacy supporting young people orphaned by HIV/AIDS in the Copperbelt region of Zambia. Since then, Cecily's Fund has provided school fees and educational support for thousands of children, and I'm delighted to be raising money for them here.
Do not confuse the amount of time I spend boring you all about the different gym classes I take for any genuine fitness - and in particular I absolutely hate running...10k is a small but significant challenge and this run on 9th July is a deeply unappealing date in my diary.
Please give generously for a wonderful charity that I am very proud to be associated with, and does such important and intelligently-managed work in Zambia.
