Story

Hi Everyone,

As many of you are probably aware, I am going to be running the Cardiff Half Marathon on the 14th of October to help raise money for St.Annes Hospice

St. Annes Hospice provides palliative care to those suffering with terminal illness. It is an inspirational service that I, and many close family friends, have experienced first-hand. It is not only the standard of care received at St.Annes, but the dignity and respect given to individuals and their families during the last stages of a person’s life, that make this hospice truly outstanding.

"The Hospice is a special place and imparts a special relationship with all who are touched by it, providing exceptional care to exceptional people"

Approximately two thirds of the funding necessary to provide this care must come from Fundraising alone; therefore every single donation will help make a difference.

As someone who has personally experienced the atmosphere of peace and tranquillity, the devotion of the staff, and the support given to my family, during the final days of my Grand Fathers life, I cannot express how important it is that this care is able to continue being provided. Therefore any donation will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for all your support

Harriet
