Story
REDRESS is an international human rights organisation that enables survivors of torture to bring legal cases to obtain justice and reparations for the violation of their rights, which is essential to their journey of recovery, and advocates for legal and policy reforms that deter its use around the world.
I worked with REDRESS to help secure the recent release of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe who was arbitrarily detained in Iran for six years. Nazanin's case has highlighted the wider issue of individuals being detained and ill-treated abroad.
Donations support the REDRESS legal team’s ongoing casework. With many cases taking several years, REDRESS depends on this continued support to see cases through and to pursue the best course of action for our clients.
