Story
So on 13th September 2020 I will be taking part in the Great North Run in memory of my beautiful cousin Evie May Puttick who sadly passed away on 7th October 2015 at just 20 years old.
Evie was a bright, funny, a little crazy at times, caring and beautiful person who had a heart of gold. Evie was the life and soul of our family who always brought so much joy to the family. Evie could always put a smile on anyone's face. Growing up Evie was always full of energy and life. As the years went on Evie developed an addiction which sadly took her life in October 2015. Evie is missed so much by everyone who knew her and the heart ache we go through as a family on a daily basis is heartbreaking.
Mental health is such a huge part of many people's lives but sadly not everyone gets the help they need in time . This is why I have chosen to run for Mental Health Foudation charity as they help families and individuals like Evie so they hopefully won't have to go through the tragedy we have.
As most people will know and agree that taking on a challenge like the GNR is a big commitment when I cant even run a mile let alone 13.1miles. However I am fully determined to complete it and raise as much money as possible for such a great charity that have been helping people in the UK for 70 years who suffer from mental health problems. Let's make Evie proud !
Please if you can spare any money to help this amazing charity I would be extremely grateful 💚
