Coventry Does Strictly is waltzing into the city. And it is our pleasure to announce that all the glitz and glamour will raise funds Coventry and Warwickshire Mind and the star of the dancefloor! Why not come along and watch the spectacular shows!

Story

Dancing is very much in my bones. I spent years dancing ballet, modern, tap and acro as a child. These days I am a huge Strictly Come Dancing and  Fitsteps fan ( a Strictly inspired exercise class). However, there is no getting away with it, learning and performing 2 real ballroom dances in 8 weeks feels a huge challenge!! However I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to try!

I am proud to be raising money for Coventry and Warwickshire Mind. I have worked and volunteered for mental health services in the past, and promoting mental well-being is still very much a part of my role as a Health Coach.

There is still so much stigma around mental health, and charities such as Mind do crucial work to break down this stigma and provide valuable support to those people who really need it. After a really challenging couple of years due to Covid, many more people are struggling with their mental health, so I feel that it's now more important than ever to raise money for this brilliant charity!
