Story
It’s a sad fact that members of the LGBTQ+ community suffer disproportionately from poor mental health - discrimination, isolation, fear, a history of persecution, and the trauma of not living authentically for (many) years are just a handful of reasons why.
Many individuals avoid accessing mainstream health services for fear of discrimination which leads to issues going untreated, so their mental health deteriorates further over time. Pandemic lockdowns, restrictions and increased isolation have only made things worse for the LGBTQ+ community and their mental health.
elop has been supporting the mental health of members of the LGBTQ+ community for over 25 years and have saved countless lives -but elop services have never been so important to the community as they are today. Please give to my #exercise4elop2022 challenge to enable elop to be here for another 25 years
