Story

So as most of you know I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer 4 years ago after the birth of my little boy. Wow my life changed from that moment on.. In soo many ways!

I endured a 7 hour operation to remove my whole thyroid and 27 lymph nodes, a long road to recovery with a few sessions of speach therapy and lifetime of learning to live without a thyroid. Daily struggles include severe fatigue, brain fog, heart palpitations and that’s just name a few..

Then went on to have a round of radioactive iodine which meant I was isolated in a lead lined room for a week in Nottingham hospital, then had to be kept in isolation for another week. Away from family and friends was super tough for two weeks! (That was before isolation was the in thing!) 😉

Now I have regular check ups and would love help raise more awareness

So please check your necks!!
