IF YOU CAN READ THIS PLEASE WILL YOU HELP YOUNG PEOPLE WHO CAN'T?
LOOK-UK supports visually impaired young people and their families by helping to improve their self-confidence, develop life skills and make new connections.
Between now and Sunday April 28th next year I want to raise at least £1,500 for this special charity by competing in the London Marathon as part of LOOK'S team of fund-raising runners.
In doing so I'll be following in the footsteps of my dad, thirty-eight years after he was among those 6,255 pioneers who crossed the finishing line in the first London Marathon back in 1981.
More than 900,000 runners have completed the London Marathon since then and it's recognised as the largest single annual fund-raising event in the world with around £700M made for good causes.
Will you help me add to that total in 2019 by supporting my first run for LOOK-UK? You can find out more about the charity's work by visiting www.look-uk.org
On behalf of all the visually impaired young people LOOK helps in so many ways – thank you.
