How far is 54 miles? 87 kilometers... 95040 yards... 108,000 steps... It would take about an hour to drive on the motorway but I aim to do this in 24 hours by foot. Definitely a challenge. 

Lucky for me though, I get to explore the beautiful peak district whilst doing this. Not everyone gets to explore such fantastic places - it is significantly more difficult for those with physical, learning, behavioural and sensory disabilities. 

The Calvert Trust is a charity set up to provide disabled people the opportunity to undertake fun and exciting outdoor actvities. Their excellent work wouldn't be feasible without finincal support for the high costs of specialist equipment and staff contact time. A small charity like this one can easily be overlooked but can make a huge difference to the lives of individuals. Something previously impossible can become possible.
