My name is Harriet, and I was in an RTC on May 31st 2014. I was standing in a bustop in Birmingham with my friend Rebecca. We were 21 years old. Two cars were racing at 100mph along the Hagley Road. They didn't know each other. Rebecca was killed at the scene and I was rushed to the QE.
I was in a coma for a month and have had over 60 hours of surgery at this hospital. I owe them my life. And my ability to walk and mobilise in a way that no one thought possible. Search ‘this too shall pass harriet barnsley’ to read about the injuries I sustained, and more.

The ability to appreciate the moment, the environment and yourself in it, isthe base for the bridge towards long term happiness of any human being.
71% of people tried to complete this challenge, but failed quoting lack of time as the main reason. These people simpy did not have time to be happy. Do you?’
This is my challenge.
