Almost unbelievably, we are coming up to the first anniversary of us losing our friend and teammate Emma Carder to cancer. Emma was such a big part of the club and her absence can be felt in all areas of HNC. We miss her constant enthusiasm, on and off the court, her endlessly thoughtful nature, and her unrivalled netball knowledge.

The Carder Cup will be a way for us to celebrate Emma, honour her love of netball, her love of Disney and her love of fun as well as being a day to support her family and raise lots and lots of money for them and Cancer Research UK. We will run the Carder Cup annually - our way of continuing to acknowledge the amazing impact Emma had on so many at our club and beyond it.
