Story
There are currently 850 million people worldwide living with kidney disease. I would love to help and I am joining forces to help and support and hopefully end kidney disease. Me and my Mum are both fundraising by doing the #850StepChallenge for World Kidney Day. I'm taking charge and making this year count. I'll be completing 8500+ steps a day every day throughout March for World Kidney Day. 💚
With kidney disease now being the 10th top cause of death globally, Kidney Research UK has never been more important. Kidney disease ruins and destroys lives. Research is key to transforming kidney health and support is crucial to make this happen. 💚
In my thirties I was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and being a diabetic since the age of 17. I have experienced Kidney failure and it is a horrible disease to face. This was the most difficult time of my life. I was on dialysis every single night for 12 hours per day. The strength that got me though this was my faith and my family support. After a long period of time I was put on the transplant list to have kidney and pancreas transplant. I was so grateful for receiving this gift of life and now can spend times with my loved ones.💚
March is kidney disease awareness month! The green ribbon/Heart also represents organ transplants. Here's to all the warriors out there! 💚
Please donate whatever you can, every £ will help to keep research going and help kidney patients. Kidney disease ends here. Stay Safe everyone 🙏🏾💚
