Story
It’s that time of year again where I’m doing some small fundraising to support the BHF (British Heart Foundation) and raise some funds to support research into Heart Disease.
What this means is to give up certain things – mainly chocolate for the whole month of March.
This will be my 3rd year in a row;
2020 – I gave up Chocolate and raised £500 (during lockdown too!!)
2021 – I gave up Chocolate, Sugar and Fizzy Drinks and raised £1252
2022… well I’m going for the leader of the pack challenge, but also going to throw into the mix for my own personal challenge and combining 2020, 2021 with 2022!!
I’m looking to ASSEMBLE a team to support me on this – whereby I’m asking if you’d join me on any one of the 3 challenges below.
If you are interested I’ll add you to my team on the JustGiving Page I’ll setup over the weekend – and together we can smash this challenge and then gorge on chocolate and all things nice in April 😊.
If NOT and you want to WIMP out….. I won’t hold a grudge but will be expecting the £££££ donations to be flowing in!!
There’ll be no need to register or do anything I’ll add you to my page and you can then circulate amongst your friends and family the challenge that you are participating in and hopefully raise some funds too!
If you think you can’t succumb to 31 days there are some ‘free passes’ available but it comes at a cost of making a donation if you break under the pressure 😃
With each year there are 3 levels to the challenge, 2022 brings along the following levels that you have to commit to for 31 days from 1st March to 31st March.
Level 1 - no chocolate for 1 month
Level 2 - no chocolate and biscuits
Level 3 - no chocolate, biscuits and cakes
