Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
As some of you may know Liz's mum has been poorly with Aplastic Anaemia for nearly a year now. I am running the half marathon in Reading on March 29th and would like my sponsor money to go to this charity.
What on earth is Aplastic Anaemia I hear you shout... well here comes the science bit (obviously a cut a paste job!)
Aplastic Anaemia is a rare acquired disorder in which there is a failure of the bone marrow to produce sufficient blood cells for circulation around the body. Few people know about this disease despite the fact that it is as common as some types of leukaemia and just as devastating.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Aplastic Anaemia Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
No matter how small your donation every little helps,
Thanks for the support
Paul
