Sue Ryder Wheatfields: Room full of love

Fundraising for Sue Ryder
£2,020
raised of £145 target
In memory of Joanne Harker
The past year has been difficult for many, so were aiming to reach as many people experiencing loss as possible. We want to take away some of the tough things that come with losing a loved one, so that families can focus on the most important - love.

Story

It’s been a hard couple of years for most and we are so looking forward to welcoming those who can join us  on Saturday 6th Aug, at St Michael’s Church Hall, East Ardsley, where Harker’s Army will be back baking and making, gaming and raffling in true Harker style.  For those who cannot and want to donate, then please feel free on here. Its very much appreciated.

Sadly, Jo lost her courageous battle with cancer in 2019  and before she passed away, she insisted Harker’s Army continue the fund raising in her memory and that is what we will do.

Jo always gave back even in the darkest days. She was a true inspiration!

This  year,  Wheatfield’s Hospice in Leeds will benefit from money raised.   They are ensured  Jo’s final weeks  on this planet were in comfort and pain free.

Teenage Cancer Trust will be the second charity to benefit as they help teenagers and their families cope with the gruelling treatment these poor young humans have to endure.

You are what make this event a success and we are eternally grateful for your support. It means the world to all involved.

Much love and thanks  xxxxx
