Story

Hi.

Thank you so much for visiting our Team Hari page.

Team Hari consists of 24 incredible family and friends running the Dublin Marathon in memory of our son Hari.

Hari passed away suddenly from pneumococcal meningitis in October 2017. This year’s Dublin Marathon takes place on the first anniversary of Hari’s passing and in celebration of Hari’s life, we will be running the marathon in aid of FirstLight and Meningitis Research Foundation.

FirstLight offers support and information, and promotes research into the sudden, unexpected, often unexplained deaths of infants and
children.  FirstLight have given our family considerable support since Hari passed away  https://firstlight.ie/

Meningitis Research Foundation is a leading international charity that brings together people and expertise to defeat meningitis and
septicaemia wherever it exists. Meningitis Research Foundation vision is of a world free from meningitis and septicaemia. A world where effective vaccinations can protect everyone.

We would like to thank our family and friends for their continued support.

Go Team Hari!!!

Meningitis is deadly; killing and seriously disabling in hours. Small children and young adults are high risk, but all ages can be affected. Globally 1,000 people die daily. We fundraise to invest in research, campaign for vaccines, provide symptom information and support those already affected.
