Fundraising for Mind
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me to run the BUPA Great North Run.
I'm running for Mind in memory (pun intended) of my friend Simon Jeffery, who sadly took his own life after a long battle with depression from losing his wife to breast cancer. Simon was a successful marathon runner himself - he ran both the London and New York marathons to raise money for breast cancer research. Now I'm raising money to help others like Simon struggling with depression.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Mind The Mental Health Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Mind needs your donation to carry on its work. One in four of us will experience a mental health problem at some point in our lives. Each year more than 250,000 people are admitted to psychiatric hospitals and over 4,000 people take their own lives.
Many thanks for your support.
