Hello and thank you for taking the time to have a read of this post. For those of you that don’t know Heston he’s a 10 year old border collie (originally from the Gold Coast in Australia) He’s a lovely boy who naturally spreads joy wherever he goes and to all he meets. His favourite thing is meeting people on route and getting a fuss.
Heston has been through quite a few months of medical stays and appointments and he’s been very brave throughout. The team at Holly Bank Vets in Sandiway have been incredible and through their dedication, love and care he’s fully recovered and back to his happy, healthy self again. I really can’t thank them enough!
Heston’s friends, family and the people in the local community have been wonderful and have supported him throughout, by giving him loads of fuss and well wishes.
As a way of saying thank you, we would like to do a sponsored walk for The Joshua Tree Charity based in Sandiway. Please see the link and find out more about this wonderful charity. https://thejoshuatree.org.uk This is also a charity Holly Bank Vets support. http:
This weekend we plan to track our walks using strava and walk down all the residential streets of Sandiway, Cuddington and Delamere Park and then the big loop around sandiway and cuddington. we are hoping to achieve this in 24 hours and raise over £500 pound. If you see us passing by please give us a wave and feel free to give Heston a fuss :) or join us part/all of the way :)
The Joshua Tree Charity is a Cheshire based Children's Cancer Charity. They operate across the North West and North Wales and are dedicated to working with families affected by childhood cancers. : They work with the whole family in recognising that every family's cancer journey is unique. They tailor the service to suit the family's specific needs, by means of emotional, academic and practical support, such as counselling, art and play therapy, health and well-being advice, support in and around the home and educational tutoring where required to help ensure that life remains as normal as possible during an incredibly traumatic time.
