Community Van on Fire - New Van Appeal

Kirpa Kaur is raising money for NishkamSWAT
In memory of Daddy Cool
On Thursday 28th October 2021, our van named Compassion was being driven by our Strand team full of hot meals, non-perishables, tea and coffee and provisions for the homeless and caught fire by Trafalgar Square.

Story

I am fundraising for my Daddy’s Birthday this year on 22 December. He would have been 69 🤍 22.12.52 to 16.02.13 🤍

Thankfully no one was hurt and the team responded quickly and disembarked the van when they noticed smoke and a fire starting on the grill of the van.

The team ensured the public were safe and kept at a distance from the fire and emergency services then came to assist.

The safety of our volunteers is our priority and we are slowly changing towards environmentally friendly vans.

We are appealing to you to help us reach our target to purchase a new Electric Van for our homeless outreach feeds across London.

Thank you for your generous donations.

RIP Compassion.
