Happiest Minds and Datum Group are sleeping out on the 6th October, whatever the weather, to help tackle the root causes of youth homelessness. Why are we giving up our bed for one night to sleep rough for Byte Night in Manchester?
- Circle of Happiness what we call our Social Responsibility initiative at Happiest Minds – which is about spreading Happiness to all those around us and whose lives we interact with.
- Because together we can help get young people off the streets into safe homes and jobs! Close to 80,000 young ones are out there - alone, scared, penniless!! 1 in 7 homeless young people will have been physically or sexually abused and 1 in 3 will try to commit suicide.
- Action for Children supports 390,000 children, young people, their families and carers, and last year Byte Night raised over £1.2million to support this vital work.
- Our fondest memories should be those as children – free and loved, full of dreamsand bright hope – with families. For some young ones, this is not their memory. Some are on the streets and vulnerable – it’s not where children ought to be.
- That is why we are giving up our bed for one night to make a positive difference to these young people’s lives and do our bit to prevent Youth Homelessness.
Do sponsor us as much or as little as you like. BUT GIVE SOMETHING!! And thank you
