Event: Annual Walk 2018 - South Downs Way, from 3 May 2018 to 7 May 2018
In memory of Dhanbai Jadva
We help people facing terminal illness to have the best quality of life possible

Story

Sadly, my beloved mother Dhanbai Jadva, aged 91 passed away on 4th November 2017. Towards the end of her life, she had the most wonderful care and support provided by St Luke's Hospice at home staff who visited our home three times a day to see to her personal needs. They provided the special care that she required in a professional manner, allowing her to keep her dignity. They also provided much welcomed support to the family during our most difficult times.

The hospice relies on charitable sources to raise 70% of its annual income and being a keen walker myself, I would like to combine my passion for walking to raise some cash to support the healthcare institution.

The walk that I am embarking on is the annual charity walk organised by the hospice which is, along the South Downs Way, 80 miles,  from Petersfield to Beachy Head. The South Downs Way provides spectacular views from its high ridges across a changing landscape of fields, ancient woodlands, rolling hills,  wide river valleys and its Heritage Coast, connecting Winchester, the Saxon Capital of England, with the white cliffs of Eastbourne (images of south downs way below) so am really looking forward to doing this walk.

I would hugely appreciate your support in raising funds for St. Luke's hospice.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and hopefully to have donated!
