Story

I am doing a sponsored walk to raise funds for St. Luke's hospice.

St Luke's Hospice looks after people (their family and carers) whose illnesses are no longer curable and through the support they provide, the individuals can enjoy best quality of life.   The hospice relies on charitable sources to raise 70% of its annual income and being a keen walker myself, I would like to combine my passion for walking to raise some cash to support the healthcare institution. My aim is to raise as much cash as possible but a minimum of £500.00 would be gratifying.

The walk that I am embarking on is the Essex Way which is an 82 mile route which begins at Epping and finishes by the sea at Harwich.  The route is through the ancient woodlands, open farmland, tree-lined river valleys and leafy green lanes and finally ends in the salt marshes to the sea at the port of Harwich.  The walk itself traces some of the countryside enjoyed by Constable.

I would hugely appreciate any support. Any donation at all would be appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and hopefully to have donated!
