Story

It is a privilege to be able to run the London Marathon for Children
with Cancer UK this year. This charity has become particularly important to me over the last few years. During my three years of teaching in London, I have seen the effects of cancer on four different children. But it is due to the amazing work of childhood cancer charities that they have been given exceptional support during their illnesses.
Children with Cancer UK is the leading national children’s charity dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer. They fund life-saving research into the causes, prevention and treatment of childhood cancer and they work to protect young lives through essential welfare programmes. This is so important to me because research like this has given all the children I have taught a much stronger chance of fighting cancer. Running this personal challenge is just a tiny way of me trying to give back to a charity that is doing so much. So please please donate to this fantastic cause. No amount is too small and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
