Last Christmas we lost Hannah's beautiful cousin, and Jack's doting 'supporting adult', Nessa, to heart failure.

On 29th September, to coincide with 'World Heart Day', and to keep Ness' memory alive and well, a group of us are taking part in a 13km sponsored walk in and around London. 

For those who didn't know her, Ness worked as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Not many people knew that Vanessa also had heart problems, and she sadly died of heart failure in December last year.

With your help, we want to raise loads of money to support 'Chain of Hope', an amazing charity that was very close to Vanessa's heart. She took part in a number of missions to Jamaica as part of the medical team treating children with life-threatening heart disease.
