Those of you who have been affected by cancer will understand the pain that it causes the sufferer and the family they leave behind.  The Lions Hospice helps to care for the sufferer and the family during the hardest parts of the treatment.  They are an invaluable support to families and individuals and many families would be lost without them.

Having lost both my grandfathers to cancer as well as family friends, seeing the impact it has on a families has encouraged me to continue to fundraise for the hospice.  This is my 4th marathon and each time I have run a marathon I have raised money for the hospice to do  my bit to help them help other families like mine and I intend to do so for many years to come.
