I am running the London Marathon next year to raise money for Kidneys for Life - which is an amazing charity, very close to mine and my families heart. My Nan had kidney failure which led to her being treated through dialysis.

My Nan and I used to watch the London Marathon every year as a tradition. When I was little I promised I would run it and she could watch. I entered the ballot every year for 6 years, but wasn’t ever lucky enough to get a space.

I promised her that 2020 would be the year no matter what but unfortunately, she passed away before I was able to keep my promise. I'm devastated that she won't be there but I will be running every step for her and I know she will be with me in spirit.

My nan was the strongest, most caring and beautiful woman. I would give anything to have her in my life for longer. I hope by raising money for this brilliant cause we can give other families the opportunity to spend more time with their loved ones.
