Thanks for supporting my fundraising. I've had my eye on the Etape Loch Ness for a while so was easily persuaded to join Jenny and Evonne in signing up for it. It's set to be a great event - 66 closed-road miles around Loch Ness, with a gnarly KOM section out of Fort Augustus, and most importantly a great medal.

As for the charity, sadly far too many of us have lives affected by cancer. The practical, emotional and financial support provided by charities like Macmillan really can make a difference to those facing the illness and their families, including mine. If you're able to throw a few pounds my way to help me towards the target that would be very much appreciated.

With a month to go it's fair to say life has got in the way of any sort of serious training on the bike but I'm hoping to still make it round in one piece on 24th April. Thank you again for your support.
