UPDATE: Thank you so much to everyone for your support! We’ve smashed our target of £380 so now let’s double it!
£760 will pay for 30 hours of invaluable care by the amazing Marie Curie nurses.

Next year I’ll be running my first half marathon in memory of my friend Ali who sadly lost his battle with cancer 5 years ago at the age of 26. Ali was one of the funniest and kindest people I have ever met and I’m so lucky to have been his friend. After 5 years he is still so loved and deeply missed by all of his friends and family and his memory will stay with us for the rest of our lives.
Marie Curie nurses cared for Ali in his final days and supported his family as they prepared to say goodbye. This support and care is invaluable. I’m aiming to raise £380 which will cover 15 hours of end of life care from a Marie Curie nurse.
Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone. And we push for a better end of life for all by campaigning and sharing research to change the system.
Marie Curie is a charity working across the UK and we need your support to do our vital work.
