Story

Hi guys, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!!

I'm running my first ever half marathon for the Oxford Radcliffe Hospital, in particular the Neurosurgery Research Fund (2058). This fund researches into brain disease and aid's the training and development of new techniques.

This charity is close to my families heart as my Auntie Angela sadly died from a brain tumor when she was young. The Oxford Radcliffe Hospital looked after her at the time of her illness, and we want to support their continuing hard work.

I have never run a half marathon before and my training schedule has been challenging. From the cold, dark, evening runs all wrapped up with my head torch on, to the long weekend runs, where painful blisters have become a regular occurrence. But whilst the training is tough, its a great opportunity to raise lots of money for a great cause and to help motivate me to the finish line.

Please donate as little or as much as you can to support this charity, I really appreciate everyone's support.

You can read all about my journey to race day on the updates below.
