Story
On March 10th I will be running the Cambridge Half Marathon and I would really appreciate all your support in fundraising for my chosen charity; the Teenage Cancer Trust.
As some of you may know, my best friend in the world, Beth, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma just a couple of months ago. This is a type of blood cancer which affects the immune cells of the body (there's my medical bit).
This diagnosis came as a horrific shock to everyone. However, Beth has been so brave and everyone who knows her, as a friend, sister, daughter, granddaughter, (amazingly talented) pianist, bar tender and a clever university graduate too, would agree with me here.
Somewhere that has given her and thousands of other young people with cancer a truly amazing amount of support is the Teenage Cancer Trust unit in Addenbrooke's hospital, Cambridge run by the nationwide charity. To help TCT to provide best support they can to 14-24 year old cancer patients please donate to this cause!
Any donation is welcome. From 50p to £50 (And please do include GiftAid, it's money for charity for free)
Oh and I'll attempt to run this half marathon too...!
